well, it ended up being a little dimmer to the naked eye than everyone else was expecting, and the rest of the fam was slightly annoyed that I made them go drive all around town and stand out in the cold, but we managed to see the comet. and I inadvertently got some cool pics of each of my kids with the comet in the background, because I was doing night vision and it does a few second long exposure for each pic
