Its already been said, but yeah wtf is Mudvayne doing so low on this lineup? And how the hell did Glassjaw get such a high placement?

Last tour Glassjaw did 2 nights at a 1k venue in my city. Mudvayne did a 15k ampitheater. In fact I don't think any of the bands placed between Evanescence and Mudvayne do venues as big as them

 

I know it seems silly but my guess is Mudvayne plays early on the main stage and Glassjaw is closing out a stage

 

Just realized this is the first year SOAD isn’t headlining SNW, but Scars On Broadway and Shavo’s new band are both on the lineup

 

Seeing The Dear Hunter's name reminds me, wasn't TREOS supposed to play some shows in 2020? We all know why those were cancelled, but were there ever any rumblings of those being rescheduled or any other shows from them?

 

Sick new world team is just picking bands out of a hat at this point

 

Seems like the window closed and they’re back on their shit of being uncooperative

 

guess im the only one who remembers some of those mudvayne coal chamber dates selling not so great

they have been out every summer since reuniting, their inclusion just isn't a big deal at this point

 

That tour did so bad nearly everywhere iirc

 

I’ve never heard a single Mudvayne song before so their placement is too high imo

So yeah... the 10-15k cap sheds were a bit ambitious

 

If their average tickets sold is 5,300 per show, that's still way more tickets than most of the bands above them sell lol

 

Fun fact when I saw Mudvayne this summer opening for Megadeth, Chad did a snot rocket into his hand then licked it to the audible disgust of the crowd. He also tore off pieces of his face paint and threw them into the crowd. The women next to me who caught a piece turned to her significant other and said "I don't know what to do with this". Idk what this adds to the conversation, but it's my piece for the Mudvayne discourse.

cant attribute all those tickets to them with lineups like this

rob zombie / mud / static x / powerman 5000
mud / coal chamber / gwar / nonpoint / butcher babies
megadeth / mud / all that remains

zombie and megadeth surely bringing up the average

means even less when you consider a good chunk of those tickets were live nation promos

 

you absolutely need to listen to “dig”
