I love local politics. If you're not sure who to vote for your mid sized town's mayor you just ask them directly questions of where they stand on local issues on Facebook and they answer you back lol

 

People on Facebook blame or praise the mayor of this small-ish town for everything that happens and act like he can control prices at giant eagle or just build a new shopping center at will

My single issue in my town's mayoral race is when they attempted to implement an 11pm-12am curfew for outdoor seating for all the bars and breweries downtown because of noise complaints lol. I want to drink my Apricot flavored IPA outside at 1am fuck you. I am voting for the city commissioner running for mayor who was against it from the start.

weirdly it’s been an actual autumn here so far…we had one day hit 80 but we’ve mostly hovered in the mid 60s-mid 70s since the first week of September. It’s actually pretty cool today and we’ve been going into the 40s at night.
