Here is a wresting related idea I have in my head for years, but not sure if it could work in reality. Surprised it doesn't already exist in the US:

A pro wrestling bar. Just like a sports bar, but just exclusively playing wrestling on the screens all day. Wrestling memorabilia and merch decorating the place. Wrestling game arcade machines. When PPVs, Raw, Smackdown, Dynamite, ect arent on you could have like 80's WWF Night or Attitude Era Night, or WCW Night, or Japan Night, ect. I guess location would be the most important thing. Would probably only work in a big wrestling city and near an arena.

  2. We had a bar here that did that but they got in trouble for putting on live PPVs

That's a thing? Bars play UFC and boxing PPVs all the time.

We have a hole in the wall wrestling bar here called El Luchador. They have wrestling paintings and some generic wrestling related items throughout. Behind the bar is a collection of masks. Wrestling themed shots and drinks and they occasionally will air PPVs randomly. Never really any rhyme or reason as to which one. Sometimes they have live wrestling in the parking lot. It’s very small and low key though.

I think there was one in Chicago owned by Lisa Marie Varon (Victoria) but I'm not sure about it

    No Fun. Not Ever.

Tony Deppen's got a brewery in PA that Mike Bailey will do no ring shows at. Pretty sure there's a lot of wrestling stuff there.

Remembered 2k is one of the PlayStation monthly games or whatever so I downloaded it earlier. Just poisonrana’d Logan Paul through the top of the cell with Bryan.

I hate to say it but this is so much more fun than fight forever lol

So I went on a non-wrestling related rabbithole and it led to to discover something interesting about current WWE business practices.

There is this company called Airestech who makes these insanely overpriced "amulets" that supposedly protect against electromagnetic frequencies. Like real out there crystal mom bullshit, but it's a major start up with a lot of financial backing. They recently signed a deal with TKO to become an official partner of UFC and WWE. I found this in their partnership press release.

WWE is using wrestler's "independent" appearing individual social media projects as part of their corporate ad integration initiatives making them hock their garbage.

Didnt WWE used to have that in NYC? I mean, its been like 25yrs, but I feel like thats where Michael Cole "hosted" Heat from?

That was more like a club/restaurant something like a Planet Hollywood type place. Which I guess is what they were describing but I was thinking something more along the lines of a local place

Yeah, I mean I guess in the way there's a Steelers bar in every major city, you could pull it off. But I think as a full-time thing, you'd almost need to be a brewery and brew wrestling themed beers and even then, it'd be like 4 markets where it'd work.

Though it does exist in Seattle: https://www.lariatbarseattle.com/. And I was at a bar somewhere else sometime (think it was FL?) where they had old WWE stuff on the screen all the time

Yeah what I am thinking of is just a cool local sports bar that does wrestling stuff instead actual sports. A place you can go to watch PPVs and weekly shows, with wrestling trivia nights, entrance music karaoke nights, themed nights when no new stuff is on where you play a different promotions past shows, wrestling video games for people to play, maybe hire local indie talent to work the bar or bounce for supplemental income ect.

Kinda like a barcade but wrestling instead of video games.

I would love to see a review or reaction video of someone who knows nothing about wrestling watching the Vince doc and learning all this weird behind the scenes wrestling lore for the first time. That is who the doc is really for, but couldn't really find any in the sea of wrestling fans who already know all this shit takes. Would be fascinated to see that.
