I think it kinda comes down to what you think is right, and assume what you think others will think. If a song is submitted from a band that I do not consider a One Hit Wonder, because they had a second hit, then I probably won't vote for it.

 

I have a song but don’t know if it counts but I don’t care!

 

I have one song that counts that is fine and one song that might or might not count that is much, much better. This sucks lol

 

I’ve been trying to think of an example where this applies best, and I came up with Hoobastank (lol). I’m sure a lot of people would consider The Reason to be their one hit. It has close to a billion plays on their second most played song. But Crawling In The Dark and Out Of Control were definitely still hits even if they weren’t like The Reason big

So yeah I get it. I’d say just use your best judgement and remember that you’re in a league of people who will remember AFI’s Girl’s Not Grey just as much as they will Miss Murder
