I’m starting to think there is a reason she didn’t come remotely close to the nomination in 2020

 

The business loan being forgivable up to 20K seems okay but I can't see that thing surviving this supreme court, they already shredded AA

Waking up on Canadian thanksgiving to photos of patients burning alive on their hospital beds... I have my family coming over later and I just seriously considered taking mushrooms I just want an escape from this reality sometimes.

 

I don't know about the rest of you, but my primary concern this election season is protecting crypto assets.

 

Watching people burn alive from the destruction paid for an emboldened by our country really leaves me with a hollow hopeless feeling that I can’t fix. All of this seems so meaningless with that in the background.

I was Undecided until two days ago

 

Some of those proposals are stupid as hell and then they have be hand tied on what they could do because of the Supreme Court decisions but that dovetails into what the fuck are they going to do with the Supreme Court.

 

I mean in the actual text to her proposals it has this because the SBA has been blocked from doing race based SBA loans.

YEah it'd be interesting to find out how "and others" would be worded in the actual bill in congress lol

But then that just seems like part of her wider plan with the small buisness loans/credits/whatever they were, which actually is a good plan if sustainable. It costs a lot of money to start a business

 

The one thing I saw someone speculate is that they are using the "and others" language to do something similar with what they did with with Black Farmers relief and the technical language used there but that seems to be giving the benefit of the doubt.

 

$1m is insulting

Average small business loan in 2024 is around 85k. So 11-12 business loans in total.

 

I think it's meant to be 1 million separate loans, not 1 mil total $$

It’s hard to even care enough about those half assed policy proposals to criticize them or to point out that Trump is doing nothing at all helpful on policy in comparison when Harris and this administration refuse to do anything about our support of genocide and the horrifying stories coming out of Gaza and Lebanon daily. Instead we’re ramping up support for Israel. I just can’t get excited or mad about 20k business loans for black businesses who had Pell grants or whatever. Call me when we stop burning children alive
