Meanwhile in Michigan we are getting ads hyping how much of a supporter Kamala is to Israel. Even ones about how her husband is Jewish and it means she will support Israel because she listens to him.

 

The shit that Trump says that the press just lets slide is insane yes but in 2024 to act surprised by it is just dumb.

In a War between Iran and Israel & the US - in which those latter two are clearly the aggressors - I have no problem hoping Israel & the US get their asses whooped. We straight up killed a national hero of theirs a few years back and they didn’t retaliate. If it gets to that point, Iran is not to blame.

The tweet was funny tho.

 

I don't think a war with Iran would involve a full scale boots on the ground invasion of Iran itself. That would be such an obvious disaster that even the most gung Iran Hawks know it. Iran has a million person domestic plainclothes militia trained to engage in asymmetric warfare on top of their conventional military, it would be a slaughter.

If it were to happen the west would do a massive bombing/naval/cyber campaign against Iran to isolate/weaken it with simultaneous comparatively smaller scale boots on the ground conflicts against their regional proxies in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, ect. You're more likely going to die in the Red Sea, the Straights of Hormuz, Beirut, or Damascus if a full on anti-Iran war in the middle east breaks out.

 

Yeah, idk that Iran is capable of competing in - or even interested in - the type of warfare that Israel & the US would engage in. They definitely would not invade Iran, imo.

Plus Iran's topography would make a ground invasion of Iran basically impossible. Tehran is surrounded by mountains.

 

Any offensive against Iran would strictly be a bombing/missile campaign, but knowing how extensive Iran’s missile system is, with an untold amount of bunkers and silos throughout the country, there’s no chance Israel/US could destroy every one in one go (assuming they focused on those and not their Navy, or oil/gas assets), meaning Iran would get off plenty of retaliatory strikes of their own, which would be deadly (hitting actual high value targets, instead of intentionally missing like they did recently). It’s a lose-lose scenario for both sides. Israel better off using their tried and tested sabotage/assassination program instead.
