Took my wife to her first hockey game tonight and it was a fun time go Stars

 

im sure they'll be top 3 in the division in april but im enjoying the Oilers falling on their face to start the season

Something tells me the Oilers coach isn’t going to get canned for losing three games after coaching that team to game 7 of the SCF

 

They're a ton of fun, my mom used to take me a lot when I was young. Some of the few fun experiences we had together. I'm trying to get back into hockey more and my wife (Bruins fan) wants to get more into hockey as a whole so I'll probably poke in here from time to time

 

There was a goal with even less contact called off during NYR-UHC. This honestly feels like the return of foot in the crease.

 

Here's a thought, don't fucking dress useless players?

 

I wish hockey games were more affordable. I went to like 12 MLB games this year and never spent more than $40 per ticket for mid level seats. I'm looking at Stars vs Blackhawks on 11/7 and seats in the 300s start around $50

 

The game we went to started around $17 on SeatGeek (of course that's before fees...) so I guess it varies but yeah it's definitely still more expensive than baseball around here

 

I'm definitely gonna wait until the week/day of and try to grab some from a reseller. Hoping to find a better deal

day of for Stars games is 100% the way to go. Wife and I used to live in Uptown and could walk to the AAC and would just check a couple of hours before lol. Could even get lower bowl for less than $100.

 

Back when I used to spend time in Uptown I'd get handed free tickets by someone just by coincidence of being around
