It's just outside of my top 5. It always leaves me in a daze. I just love the moodiness and the atmosphere to it, the lyrical content, the vocal delivery, really everything. I think it's a stellar song

 

this album has held up well with all the other great music that came out after it this year. for sure in my top 10.

 

I like it a lot, but it actually dropped off after two weeks for me. Too many slow/sad songs for me i guess.

The more sad, slow songs the better for me.

For me, i like this album best when i can listen to the entire thing. Then the slow songs work for me. But i never have that kinda time.

They did, but 2018 definitely sounds more realistic to me especially considering their tour schedule. That being said, they do a lot of writing and recording on the road so maybe an EP or something at the end of next year might be plausible?

 

Another great show. Only have to drive an hour Wednesday and 2 Thursday. Loving Someone really seems to be catching on as an anthem and fan favorite for them. As it should.

I love that this song has remained in the setlist basically all year. It used to be at the bottom of my preferred songs on the album, but it's been entrenched in my top 10 for months now. Absolutely love it.

 

Finally showed this album to one of my best friends who thought the 1975 were a generic pop band based on the singles he heard from the debut. He was blown away and I couldn't stop smiling

 

This still has an outside chance of being my AOTY. I'm not sure if it will be able to overtake Bon Iver, but I'm drawn to it a lot more now than I have for a long time, and am reminded of how many damn great songs there are.

 

Night 2 in Chicago was great. Almost cried during the crescendo in lostmyhead. Maybe my Track Of The Year.

 

I get super emotional every time Please Be Naked comes on.

 

That track is so much better live.
