Yeah, cause beyond having an average voice and the 'cheeky punk' personality Matt really didn't have much to offer. If I remember correctly, Charlie would play the bass riffs for the songs (album) and Matt would rarely play live. James wrote the songs so he was the driving force behind them whilst Charlie was the talented 'pretty boy' pushed as the 'leader' of the trio. Matt's definitely improved vocally and on the bass so hopefully he brings more to the table.

Has there been any word on the drummer for the new tours? Cobus?

I'm pretty sure it won't do early Busted numbers but I feel like it'll probably do better than the McBusted album or most of the stuff they've done since Busted.

I dunno. 'Air Guitar' charted much higher than 'OWYO' and McBusted still had McFly's loyal following backing them. But yeah, here's hoping.

Actually yeah that's true. McFly have some serious fans.

But did you like them before it? That's the big question. Cause I know plenty who would vomit over any of there stuff

So this album is basically The Charlie Show -- pretty sure he's responsible for basically every chorus and Matt is pretty much non-existent aside from the stray lines here and there. I love it. I'd say overall it's most comparable to Easy and a toned down version of On What You're On, so nothing like Coming Home at all.

Thinking Of You is catchy as shit, could have been the lead single.

I Will Break Your Heart has guitars that remind me of The 1975's Chocolate. Probably one of the more upbeat songs. Incredible sax parts and one of the least "electronic" ones. Got a nice Charlie/James combo.

Kids With Computers is cool. Autotune verses and a regular Charlie chorus.

Out of our Mind is my favorite -- similar to "Heart" tempo wise. A James chorus and the least amount of Charlie that a song has. Best Matt part on the album.

Had a bunch of stuff going on today so it took forever to really get around to listening to it but yeah I'd agree with them. It depends what you're looking for though. For me I'm just going to naturally like the more straight forward poppy ones like break your heart and out of our mind but I could see New York or Without It being ones that the band is proud of the most. Not sure if they've said which songs were their favorites.

I love straight poppy stuff but I'm very excited for anything that sounds like the album trailer. Charlie said "New York" was his favourite, James said that one, "Without It", "Night Driver" and "Those Days Are Gone" are his favourites and Matt's singled out "New York" and also said he really likes "Kids With Computers".

This isn't even available for pre-order on iTunes in the US... that's pretty unusual right?

Holy fuck, this is good. "New York" is amazing, "Without It" is absolutely beautiful. Only halfway through the stream I received but so far all the best tracks are the ones that nobody has heard.

Agree with Joe, so far it's the Charlie show and I'm so glad I bought tickets.

Yeah it stinks for maybe Matt that it's so Charlie heavy. But in all seriousness every single song where Charlie comes in he lights up the song. It's like audio charisma.

Matt did say recently that One of a Kind was his favourite new song to play live because he doesn't have to sing, hah. So maybe he doesn't mind as much. His chorus on I See Red was my favourite part of the McBusted album though so I would have liked a bit more Matt on here. Can't complain with a lot of Charlie though. Man I'm so excited.

I'm listening to this now and Night Driver the song is almost exclusively Charlie. Almost like Off the Wall/Thriller era Michael Jackson.

Is it streaming somewhere publicly? or do I have to cry while I read everyone swooning over it for two weeks?

I can't believe on the first Busted album in 13 years Charlie has pretty much two songs to himself as well as dominating so many of the other songs, ha.

I love James' part in New York so much and Charlie's vocals at the end are fantastic.

This is probably in my top 3 for this year already. Wonder if it can pass The Hotelier or The 1975?
