Terrifier 3 rocked! Definitely the best of the 3 released thus far. Main gripe would come down to the resolution- feel like Damien Leone knows how to craft a flick but still can’t land the plane all that well. The first 3/4 wore its influences on its sleeves and had great execution. The production quality being significantly better finally allowed this franchise to not feel like a student film lol

I started with All Hallows Eve and... it isn't good lol, the ending showed some promise though

Yeah not gonna watch Terrifier 2 or see 3 tomorrow. Just not a series for me, tho Art is a good villain.

lmao yeah you can't convince me these weren't conceived as a comedy, they're not scary at all but so goofy. the bit where Art pulls out a gun had ne rolling

They're absolutely meant to be funny. I do think the series takes a significant leap in quality with 2 and 3 is even better.

  8. I’m stoked for T3.

Also why is nobody talking about Kevin Bacon in HOLLOW MAN

Had an absolute blast with Terrifier 3. I love the 2nd so I'm not entirely sure if this tops it yet but damn what a good time. Especially with a packed theater.

I’m not the biggest fan of the terrifier series but this rocked. T3 was so mean, wild, and fucked up. Watching this in theaters was way more fun than watching the other 2 at home.

With that said, not sure if I’ll ever watch it again. It’s much more mean spirited than the other two and the gore was on another level. Not sure if I’d make it through the whole thing at home

That is what I was worried about or afraid to hear. I did not like the first one at all for reasons similar to those but the second one kinda won me over with how over the top and comedic it was. I do want to check out the third one though.

I’d say T3 also had the most cohesive story of the 3. You can tell that Leone is definitely taking note that he’s gonna walk a fine line between pure filth and conventional horror

But I was still way more freaked out by Stir of Echoes haha

I think 3 goes even further in the comedic/over the top direction honestly.

We don’t want to encourage people to get so committed to a role that they peel off their own skin again but yeah what a pro

I truthfully really did not enjoy either of the first two Terrifier movies at all, but I’ve been floating the idea of checking this out in theaters just because I’d like to support this mode of “grassroots” horror, and hope its success leads to more things like it in a broad sense.

  19. My honest advice to anyone thinking about checking out Terrifier 3 (which I haven't seen yet) would just be to skip the first one. The second one is miles ahead in nearly every conceivable way, and it's a standalone, so if you get through 2 and love it, you're likely to love the third as well. The first feels distinctly shoddier and meaner and less joyous, so it will always be there to revisit if it turns out you really love Art the Clown

not bad advice honestly. He's said the first one was mainly just to see if people were into the character enough for him to really commit to the story he started telling in 2. 2 is a much stronger film and a better indicator of if you'll like 3.

Hmmm, alright. I'll give 2 a try. Willing to trust you fools

The first Terrifier definitely feels like a demo reel, 2 vaugely references it and feels like it's own jumping off point. Really like where they took the story in this new one too, very excited to see where 4 goes after that ending.

  23. Don't get me wrong, 2 is also fucked up and absolutely ups the gore on the first film lol it just strikes the balance in tone a lot better and is a much more well-made film. The meanness and gore don't go away, but they do feel way more earned.

I’m willing to give it a go but doubtful I’ll like it much more if this is the case.

  25. Just trying to be as real with you as possible lol I don't totally love 2 or the franchise as a whole yet, but it absolutely earned my respect and turned me around on Leone as a whole. It's a good film
