    demos of JRPGs have been then selling point for me. if I can get in and see what the vibe is like and can then carry over progress - that’s a huge sell. it’s also probably a genre I am least familar with but the excitment here has opened that up.

    it’s lead me to buy and complete DQXI and now hopefully Metaphor. which was a buy after the prologue.

    Well, classics off the top of my head include Chrono Trigger, Secret Of Mana, Lufia II, Wild Arms, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy IX, Lunar I & II, Star Ocean: The Second Story, Grandia I & II, Breath Of Fire III... although in Lunar's case, maybe just wait for the collection.

    Do you have a PC? And if so, do you emulate? If so, all of those are easily emulatable.

    I’ve literally started replaying it the other day on my Steam Deck lmao. Yeah the tailing sections are the worst thing, and I didn’t really care for the investigation aspect a lot of the time but everything else is just peak RGG

    Silent Hill 2 is really hitting for me. I am completely uneasy playing this. And it looks amazing. I have adored the original since 2001 and this is hitting that same spot currently.

    It's a lot of fun, but some of the story fights feel crazy difficult. Not sure if I'm just mega rusty having not touched Tenkaichi since probably like, 2008, but holy moly. Great return to form though for sure.
