nxt is just going to be all 40 year olds

 

yeah calling up Crews is just setting him up to fail. he might be good enough to knock it out of the park but i'd be surprised

 

There are a lot of guys that I think are way more ready for a call up than Crews.

 

If Corbin got a random one off last night they could just slow build with these guys until they think they can hang permanently. No idea what the plan is yet but just my hope for now.

 

I think Baron Corbin is up for good. This is probably just a random one-off appearance for Crews.

This is probably going to be an introduction for Corbin to the main roster audience, and they are using Crews due to their history together.

 

they've been playing it so safe, i can't fault them for taking a risk. not sure how apollo gets over tho.

 

Remember Sami (far more ready) got a Royal Rumble appearance then disappeared for over a month. This is an NXT ad.

I can't see Trips being the one who made the call on that Crews debut. Corbin, too. Huge, athletic guys. They seem like total Vince moves.

 

I don't think it's a call up, he'll probably get destroyed by Corbin after his match and not be seen for months on Raw

I don't follow NXT at all - who are the prime suspects? I wasn't incredibly impressed looking at the roster online, but I could be wrong.

 

I don't know what it is about Crews but he's just so likeable, whenever he comes out I'm just happy

Is this WWE just saying screw it and giving the post-Mania crowd what they want? I doubt Crews is permanent. The crowd wasn't going to let them do much new anyway.

 

all i can think is that shane is going to go to war with vince and this is them planting seeds for guys he's gonna recruit

 

This wouldn't be terrible.

 

Samoa Joe, Corbin, and a few of the tag teams (Enzo/Cass, Revival) are likely coming up soon-ish. Could easily bring up Finn and Bayley, but, seems they are gonna keep them around there for a little while.
