Not listened to it since release, so need to give it another spin. Remember it being fairly enjoyable.

 

it almost feels like a sampler ep and the rest of the album is incoming.
nevertheless, i still listen to it. the opening riff in track one is still a banger.

 

Fun fact: this album fits snugly between Pinkerton and Green Album in runtime.

really? I love Gold Cobra. Sad that one got no attention upon release or even now apparently.

 

I just want Unquestionable Truth pt. 2

 

I not only think Gold Cobra is stronger than STILL SUCKS but also consider it one of their strongest records to date.

It’s for sure bloated but goddamn that record rips for the most part IMO ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It'd be third behind Starfish and Significant for me. Those three albums I'd listen to anytime

 

I still have them forever burnt in my memories lyric for lyric from taking the bus to high school 20+ years ago and playing both albums on my discman. Then they graduated to my car stereo senior year.

I remember being in middle school and fading the right channel when Nookie starts so you'd only hear the drums, before correcting into that opening riff. My parents must have hated me.
