So far, all good. American Hi-Fi got here in perfect condition. Millencolin - Pennybridge Pioneers is actually arriving today after traveling what seemed like the entire world so I'm a bit nervous to see how it looks.

 

got busy at work. glad to know there were still copies of SBM from S41. got my copy quite easily.

 

Looks like only about 165 out of 1,000 left for Screaming Bloody Murder. I'd jump on it if you haven't already.

 

Maybe this will be the week that album finally clicks with me. Always been the only one I don't really like, and it's always the one Deryck mentions as being one of his faves.

 

I like some of the songs on it. Jessica Kill, Blood In My Eyes, title track, Scumfuk.

Thats about it off the top of my head.

 

When I saw them a few weeks ago, Deryck said the title track was the most requested song for them to play.

 

I remember Skumfuk and Screaming Bloody Murder being in heavy rotation on Faction Sirius/XM back in the day.

 

Skumfuk still is haha

 

Title Track and Jessica Kill still wind up in my workout playlist rotation often, but I cant seem to remember much else from this album. Might have to throw it on for my commute home today.

 

I haven’t had Sirius since my trial expired on my car years ago, is faction still on it? I thought I read it became a web only station but I’m not sure. Used to love it back in the day.

 

I have faction on mine! And I’ve heard Skumfuk probably 3-4 times on there.

 

I havent had Sirius since I got a new car in 2020, but had it for like 4 years before that. I loved Faction, but towards the end stuff like the Jason Ellis Show got super lame. And I think they also got rid of Covino and Rich. Jim and Sam are still a thing though. Once Covino and Rich were gone and Ellis got super weird, I was out.

 

My press copy was waiting for me at home! Can’t wait to dig in…

 

Man that’s a shame. I used to catch Tony Hawks show on my drive home from work daily after the tail end of Ellis which was off the rails by that point. They seemed to be grooming Ellis to be huge and I guess it all fell apart? I probably listened a lot from like 2013-18. They had some other good DJs on there and played a good variety of old and new back then.

Actually now that I recall, I think the Ellis show got cancelled before I got rid of Sirius. It got so bad and he had a fall out with Sirius. Ellis has a podcast with Tony now and Ellis is pretty much unbearable.

 

Update on Millencolin from Rude. Just a small seam split on top so nothing too crazy. But, it’s standard black and was advertised as transparent yellow. Just when I thought I hit the “warehouse find” jackpot. I could have just bought that version from Epitaph. So annoying.

Prime Deals have come and gone and all I bought was a sleeping bag, a bag of rocks for my son’s rock tumbler, and a hydraulic brake set for my bike. I guess this is growing up.
