An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

"you weren't supposed to help her" most terrifying line in horror. so much dread packed in those six words

I think Azrael went up on digital early somewhere because it’s out there now. I saw someone say the digital date was supposed to be 10/25.

  4. I'd recommend seeing that one in a theater if you can, unless it's like not playing anywhere near you

Rabid tonight for Gore-Us's Cronenberg film I haven't seen yet pick. Enjoyed it, but it's just a spin on zombie flicks imo. Not nearly enough body horror

VHS really surprised as I don’t typically like the whole films, but I do love found footage. The only segment I didn’t like is on brand and that was the Kate Siegel/Mike Flanagan short. The song from the second one is still stuck in my head. I am a goddess!!!

Blink Twice was fantastic and fits in my top ten of the year so far.

    Currently watching Salem’s Lot.

This whole time I thought The Invisible Man (2020) was directed by a woman because I thought Leigh Whannell was a woman because Leigh Janiak (Fear Street trilogy) is a woman

also I've been reading it in my head as "lay" instead of "lee"

oh but because I'm Asian my (dead)name is too hard to figure out

New Salem's Lot was mostly enjoyable but also felt like it was filmed to be a show and tons of stuff was cut to fit it into a movie format. Not enough time with really any of the characters. Need to check out the 79 miniseries.

Started my October horror watch list this weekend.
Haunt is a lot of fun, enjoyed it.
The new Salem’s Lot was disappointing. So much great material to work with but when you rush through it like they did it becomes just another ok vampire movie with some dumb scenes like why are the vampires so incompetent with just these couple people

Stuck In Evil Mode For 31 Days Prestigious

I’ve said it before and after watching it last night, I’ll say it again: Land of the Dead was ahead of its time and its themes are much more relevant today.

I really want to like it but I'm definitely a "Zombies need to be mindless beings" type of person and I ahve no idea why other than that was my intro to them. Something about them learning how to speak and use tools and stuff just doesn't work for me. But yeah I'll often watch it if I flip through TV and see that it's on

I also feel like Flanagan wasn't given the opportunity to make Salem's Lot so he made Midnight Mass instead...and I am grateful for that.

There is TLDI drama and John Brennan quit the show :( based on everything I've read, it sounds like he was not being compensated fairly for the Jamboree each year and I would imagine that is especially frustrating now considering his house fire. The rest of it reads like work relationships stuff that the internet doesn't really need to be privy to, and I'm still going to enjoy the show for what it is, but it's a bummer. Will definitely check out whatever he does next because his music and presence brought a lot to the show.

I'm due for a Nightmare rewatch, but I think it's the worst of all the movies in the big 3 franchises.
