What weapons are we giving the knight? If just a sword then I’d agree, but if they have a longer range item like a lance, then I think the knight could control the action from a somewhat safe distance until they’re ready to strike.

 

It should also be mentioned that he had like 600 receiving yards and 5 TDs last year too. There's an entire facet of his game that has yet to be needed this year. That's INSANE

 

Valid point. I’m thinking sword. Knight would also be well-served with a Mace or flail - something with crushing potential rather than piercing.

the one play I saw was Nico sliding on the ground and getting absolutely trucked with no flag so I 100% believe it

 

The problem imo is clearly the defense. Which makes sense considering DeBoer is an offensive guy and their DC hasn't played on this kind of stage before. Idk how different his scheme is but I've heard people say it's different enough to where maybe some of the older guys are struggling?
