Yeah the UK vs US singles market being different in the 90's really drove a lot of different output styles. British bands tend to have a wider amount/variety of b-sides since, from what I remember, songs that were eligible for radio play HAD to have a physical single. In the US, songs that we remember as being huge hit singles ("Longview" by Green Day for example) never had proper single releases in the US and were promo only radio singles. Thus the UK market had a lot more B-sides, one-off singles in those days which is a long way of saying that I think the London gigs will be more B-side/non-album heavy. This whole phenomenon was the reason the band released The Masterplan in the US in the first place in 1998.

Managed to get a ticket for the Sunday Rose Bowl show!

When I got in the queue there were only 2004 people in front of me and it moved super quick which has never happened to me before so I tried my luck with the Saturday show but that queue had 132226 in front so I'll just walk away happy with my Sunday success.

 

Damn I should’ve tried for Sunday I guess lol… still more than 123,000 ahead of me for Saturday lol it’s not looking too good!

 

instantly got through the rose bowl line- never had that happen before!

 

Out of curiosity I joined the queue for Rose Bowl night one, now over an hour after on sale started. Immediately a message popped up saying the show is now sold out, and yet there are still 30,000 in the queue. Did all these people minimize their browser and not see the message? Lol

 

I'm a bit confused as to why they didn't when they had the date booked.

I’m giving up tickets at this point. The only option is to fork 4 grands out for VIP.

Boyfriend just gave me financial all the clear to go the StubHub route for Toronto, scooped two tickets in the North Grandstand for $331 USD each.

 

Hopefully they’re actual tickets cus they announced you can only resale on Ticketmaster or another app…

 

Eh, not really. On TM itself, it even says:

The tour has chosen to use Ticketmaster's Face Value Exchange. If you need to resell your ticket, they recommend that you do so on Ticketmaster for the price you paid.

 

The band put something out about only using Ticketmaster and twicket

 

That doesn't mean it's real.
