Yeah it is weird. The first time I heard the guy talk he praised Biden's Labor Secretary and the Biden administration's attempts to get them a deal. I feel like this is a mix of liberals seeing one picture of him shaking hands with Trump and some professional class MSNBC liberals associating any kind of working class populism as being "Trumpian" now.

 

I wouldn't go back to those decades because of the cultural status quo, but in terms of the economic status quo this take reeks of " 1930's-1970's New Deal consensus bad, post-Reagan neoliberalism good" which I couldn't disagree with more.

See I assumed they were talking about all those losers that post those made-to-look-drawn pictures of the 50s family in front of their house with the car or whatever and saying “we used to be able to afford all this on one income, what happened”

I’m a little confused because I thought his forgiveness plan got struck down outright, not paused with a TRO. The save plan is a repayment plan.
