I feel like teams that “have that special thing” will have a player emerge through the shadows.

 

Too bad the Dodgers won’t have Mark Hoppus throw out the first pitch in the division series vs. the Padres. Instead of being fun they will probably have someone like Eric Karros throw it out instead.

bought a couple of topps fat packs this am and got this Royals royal blue parallel. as a Phils phan, i'm a fan of the royals facing the yanks lol. go blue (for the time being of course).

 

Baseball is stupid and I'd rather not make the playoffs than get swept in the first round. 6 months, 162 games, and poof, gone in 2 days.

idk, admitting the opponent made a nice play is sportsmanship imo

 

don't get me wrong, I love to see bitter rivalries and fierce competition and all that, but I also love seeing athletes acknowledge others' impressive talents and having friendships across teams etc. Respect for a quality opponent is just as cool.

You see that stuff in football even though a guy just hit you at 20mph 30 seconds ago lol. They'll hug each other and be like "damn good hit boi" and be right back into the intensity of the game on the next play
