I don't give a fuck about violence anymore. Electing a racist is reason enough for violence. I don't care if they say we're no better than Trump supporters, because that in and of itself says that violent protest is as bad as denying human rights, which is bullshit. Break shit if you have to. Make sure you're heard.

 

people arent protesting the election. they're protesting the person who won. a fascist won a democratic election. everyone should be protesting. let the people who voted him in know we arent going anywhere and our numbers are strong. we won't stand for this.

I will absolutely protest an election that was tampered with by voter suppression. The minute that occurs it is no longer a democracy worth defending.

 

But it benefits Republicans by allowing them to win the EV without the PV. I understand that dems usually have the edge by starting with a bigger floor (apparently not this time) but I just don't see the benefit to a Democrat to keep it around.

In South Australia, where I live, the right wing party won the popular vote but lost the overall election, allowing the left to form government. Seems unlikely that could happen for the Dems in the USA though?

 

near impossible, the electoral college favors republicans because it gives the small rural states more weight

 

I think Trump will concede power to Republican leaders and will essentially be the puppet. I don't think he has the brains or guts to be the president. He lives for adoration, not the hard work.
