I know they differ from the anime, but would someone be lost if they don't start from the beginning? Asking for slowheart's benefit.

 

IMO, nah, I’m not a huge fan of the anime myself but some of the games are a ton of fun, I think it’s just a nice bonus if you watch the anime, nothing crazy.

 

Started the Plucky Squire last night. I like it but don’t think it’s anything groundbreaking. It’s almost a kids game but I do like how it’s constantly changing up between 2D and 3D.

 

Yeah, everything I’ve seen about Plucky Squire is how hand-holdy it is which is a bummer because it’s a gorgeous game with some really cool ideas.

 

God of War Ragnarok is still blowing my mind at every turn. The PC port is sublime.

Ragnarok is somehow both one of the most technically impressive and one of the most aggressively mid games I've ever played.

 

the dual sense hurts my hands I think my enjoyment was severely hindered by that. I have arthritis.

 

There are so many charming parts to the Plucky Squire but there are also some infuriating gameplay mechanics. The puzzles are fun as well but not challenging by any stretch.

 

thing i like the most about metal gear solid delta is everyone is HOT… Snake gonna make me misbehave… Volgin?! THE BOSS?!?

Nagumo might be the funniest person in the entire franchise other than Majima. The ability to go from insufferable annoyance to clingy bff is hilarious OMG.

 

loooove how briskly paced the metaphor demo is even with introducing characters and establishing the stakes clearly. Makes me think with the run time of the story this narrative is gonna go interesting and weird places!

 

Trying to spoil myself on O Farewell Zemuria now that it's out in Japan and I think this sums up my reaction to what I've learned.
