That’s fucking crazy. They’re hiring a bunch of bozos (aka former athletes that are bad at broadcasting) instead of keeping their good talent

 

I read this as I was listening to the most recent episode of the Lowe Post. Totally wild.

 

It always frustrated me how some media members would just roll Rose's legal troubles (and the frankly horrifying things he said in court) into the same narrative as him overcoming numerous injuries.

Good news and obviously better than nothing, but after reading the article it's pretty misleading. They're airing only 20 Nuggets games and 20 Avs games, and when you factor in their national broadcasts that's still over half that won't be aired locally

 

I’ll be curious to see if Zach has rights to the Lowe Post’ or if he’ll have to start some other thing

Don’t know for sure but the few things I’ve read make it seem like it is his or at the very least was not owned/maintained by espn.

And while not knowing the legal of podcasts even if espn does “own it” would it just be owning the name? Like, anyone can have a podcast right? Unless it was in his contract that he couldn’t do something else with a podcast but when you’re fired the company kinda loses most leverage the contracts had.

 

No Woj and No Lowe. ESPN already sucked but that’s the only two reasons I paid any attention to them.
