Has anyone seen the Fanatical : The Catfishing of Tegan And Sara yet? It's on Hulu and Disney + in the UK, I am definitely gonna watch it at some point during the week.

 

I watched it over the weekend, I really enjoyed it and it's a good watch even outside of being a Tegan and Sara fan. The story itself is pretty intense and the questions it raises about fandom and what artists owe to fans and vice-versa are well-asked even if they don't necessarily make any strong conclusions.

What happened to the TV show on their life? The first season was dope.

 

Got cancelled after one season sadly :(

 

Ha came here to ask the same thing. I like that there was a whole plotline around going to see Green Day on the Insomniac tour. Points off for using a live version of "Geek Stink Breath" from 2009 though.

 

Absolutely gutted! I feel they needed to give it more networks to make it a success. Similar to Tokyo Vice.

 

sad to hear the show was cancelled, I enjoyed it a lot. feels like if it somehow came out 25 years ago it would have been a cult classic. wish there could have at least been a season 2 :(
