What can one do to support Ellison for DNC chair? I don't really know how they decide.

  6. You can call, email, or write the DNC and tell them you support Ellison as the new chair

  7. I know two older Trump supporters that told me to my face this would never happen. I will get no joy in saying I told you so. I fucking told you this mattered.

Holy fuck, Scaramucci really compared the regulations to the Dredd Scott decision? Is this real life?

I know no one wants to hear it because he's "establishment", but I wouldn't eb surprised to see Harry Reid in the running for the DNC chair considering what he was able to help pull off in Nevada this year...

    What the fuck.

  15. Based on day two of the transition I'd like to say I think this is now verifiably wrong:

She mocks Trump as braying menace; Stein thinks he’s, at heart, a bumbler who will be neutered by his own party after being elected. But it’s Clinton who poses the greater threat, in Stein’s estimation, because she knows how to move the levers of Washington.

“Donald Trump, I think, will have a lot of trouble moving things through Congress,” Jill Stein explains. “Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, won’t… Hillary has the potential to do a whole lot more damage, get us into more wars, faster to pass her fracking disastrous climate program, much more easily than Donald Trump could do his.”

Why do we involve what "God wants" in politics anyway? Freedom of Religion is literally in the first amendment. A lot of those assholes will defend the second amendment but then force their religion on others, violating rights.

I have seen so many people who I thought really cared about the things leftists are fighting for turn around and tell me to accept this. That there is nothing we can do. That protesting is the wrong response.

All of the bipartisan bullshit is driving me crazy. I don't know what to do.

For what it's worth, protesting is an incredibly liberating feeling.

  21. Resist. Protest. They are wrong. Every time this admin turns around they need to know we are there. We need to be so large even if people get turned off by the protesting it doesn't matter.

Venezuelan coworker just told me that her whole family (who are here legally with visas) are planning on returning to their country soon "just to get it over with", because they believe there will basically be a lottery to forcibly send people back. Fucking horrifying.

Longterm ramifications of nonwhite people leaving is that it's going to make it easier for GOP to win in the future. God knows white people don't have everyone's best interests at heart.
