I know Hillary is far from a perfect human being but I can't imagine what this must feel like. To have spent your entire life dedicating yourself to public service, come within striking distance of the highest office in the land, only to be defeated by an angry screaming cheetoh yelling about muslims and immigration. And yes that's an over simplification, and yes I know she's well off and won't have to deal with most of the fallout personally (unless Trump really does throw her in jail, jesus fuck I cant believe this asshole won) but it still has to be a special kind of devastation to know think that enough people for this to happen genuinely prefer Donald Trump to you.

 

I'll never be able to take our country seriously knowing who our president will be for the next 4 years.
