Collision Grand Slam is one of the wilder cards Ive ever seen...a Saraya's rules match, a learning tree trios match, JJ/Hangman in a strap match. Its the randomness in a card you'd get if AEW went with a Cyber Sunday style PPV

 

I know it’s the same stadium but this show feels smaller than previous Grand Slams

Looks like they sold a thousand or so tickets day of, but its still like 2/3rds the crowd size of last year...and about half the original

The stage definitely feels way closer to the ring than even a normal arena show

Yeah it definitely makes it seem like a smaller venue which has actually added to this show since they didn’t draw as many people. Feels like a packed 8200 people instead of a half empty arena.

After this match I’ll at least have one match for Wrestledream. I’m stoked to go but wish they had one match announced/built 2 1/2 weeks before the show. Definitely takes away from the anticipation.

 

This match is slow even by Mox standards
