“Reign in our media environment so that you can’t just spew disinformation” i mean okay she doesn’t use the word censorship, but idk how else to read that personally. And im not necessarily even opposed to the basic idea that we need to do something about the media because obviously it’s toxic, but who in America would legislation with that aim be levied against?

well that’s the thing I don’t even think we’re talking about legislation at this point, it sounded like it was discussions on what could even be done. I honestly don’t know what could be done because literally anything they do I feel like would get zapped by the 1st amendment. But the Haitian immigrant stuff does seem like we need to do something because of how it endangers people. I just have no idea what that would even be and from the sounds of it, she didn’t seem to think there was any actual real ideas yet either.

Idk how much Amtrak usually costs but I spent $80 on 2 round trip tickets from Lancaster to Philly, I thought it was a good deal

 

I sometimes take the Amtrak from Buffalo to Syracuse to visit friends, and it’s like 2hrs and $24 each way. Super convenient.

 

makes sense that it's cheaper for a smaller city, but from nyc to dc or Boston it can be $500 or more round trip
