I'm not totally sure, I'm still pouring through all the numbers. A big take away is the Obama -> Trump voters. There's quite a few of them. Which means if the Obama coalition of voters isn't as strong as we've been thinking, the country really is further right than even I've been surmising. Which poses big challenges.

 

Had to come to Cincinnati for work today. They also may release the verdict on the Samuel DuBose case this afternoon. I made plans to stay over night so I can join folks in the streets if things go the wrong way. I'll keep you all updated, if anyone is interested. The officer was literally wearing a Confederate flag shirt under his uniform when he shot and killed DuBose.

There were major riots in Cinci when I was a kid following the Timothy Thomas case. Hope they remember what happens here following injustice. If anyone on here is near the area if and when shit goes down, let me know if you want to meet up.

I got into an argument online with some guy who said the exact same thing. He claimed that the protesters and Hillary supporters over the last two days have been worse than anything he's heard. When I told him I inherently disagreed and linked him to several stories of women, minorities and people in the LGBTQIA community being assaulted both physically and verbally over the last two days he told me that was "sad" but then said I was ignoring the other side. I told him he should expand his purview and he said I should do the same. So you know, went absolutely nowhere.

 

First, yes public defenders who tear apart a 12 year old on the stand? Come on, there's unspoken etiquette in court and going after a minor like that was ridiculous. I know you're very much against the sexual violence in the "scene" today. This is why rape victims don't press charges. Lawyers like that. So, pick a side Jason. The attorneys or the victims. I'm forthevictims.

And,I understand laws. Healthcare shouldn't be a law, just a choice. That's my point.

And that's what I don't get because it then goes right back the other way. Just a week ago Trump supporters were clamoring for a revolt if Clinton won. Now it's all "you should stop protesting and suck it up. It's over."

 

Fuck off because on one hand you defend the victims, which I very much support you for? Or fuck off because you're playing both sides by defending any attorney who rips apart a minor, rape victim on the stand?
