I don't think so. She'll be remembered for a lot. She got more votes than any woman in history, won the popular vote, and the first woman President will come on her shoulders. She'll be in the history books for many reasons. Romney won't.

 

I don't think he'll help anymore than obama. how he'll technically create jobs while also appeasing his lobbyists and corporate interests is unfeasible

 

I have listened to an absurd amount of Bad Religion the past two days.

If allowed, he is going to decimate them. Even with Bush, I could sort of see the appeal in terms of giving crumbs to people. With Trump, there's never been any misunderstanding about his stances and the extent to which personal enrichment is his sole principle. He will give them nothing,like Reagan, but a narrative and the wages of whiteness. Those who are drawn to the former can be presented with a counter-narrative once they finish weeping over the fact that their grandmother no longer has social security.

I was thinking before: well, he's a corrupt mother fucker that has no idea what he's doing, he's gonna get caught by the press in something (even after he banishes them), and get impeached. And then it's like well the other people under him aren't better so fuck. But having "disgraced" "impeached" in front of his name for the rest of his life I think I would like.

So is the take away here that 4 more years of the largest generation alive became eligible to vote, but not enough people voted to keep up with the % of the electorate? So more raw people voted, but smaller % of total electorate?

 

Don't apologize for how you feel. You're welcome to say fuck this or fuck that. It's just undeniable what this country was founded on. Look around and you'll see racism all over. Red line housing, etc... But, my point is it's been here long before Trump and will be here long after. It won't change because, unfortunately, some disgusting belief that color dictates status hasn't been universally extinguished. It's tragic but it's true. I don't tell anyone "deal with it". But, let's all be adults and admit that,with the history of this country, it's not so outrageous that it's still prevalent. So the notion Trump will bring on some new wave of racism is idiotic.

In regards to the business owners: I'm actually starting a business now. And, if it ever expands beyond a few people paying for healthcare is something I believe in for the employees. However, gouging business owners, who aren't all millionaires, makes employers the bad party when they don't provide it. So, yeah, fuck the people trying to make a living in this society who get bashed no matter what they do.

We can all agree Trump is president-elect because the Democratic party couldn't get out of their own way. There had to be a better candidate than someone who, as a defense lawyer, got the rapist of a 12 year old girl off by, in part, destroying her while she was on the stand.

I saw an article about protests in Oregon. A lone Trump supporter was chased and hit with a skateboard. Was he saying things to the protestors? Probably. Does the reaction need to be physical violence? Never. Each side is very flawed but neither accept their shortcomings.

Lastly, to the person who "needs to explain ObamaCare" to me - don't waste your time. I'm well aware of it because I'll be paying at the end of year for not having coverage. Amazing to have the freedom of choice in this country except in some cases.
