I have it in my hands!

The slate appears to be a shade darker but not by much. It's really hard to capture, I tried taking some photos but it's not easy to see.

The weight difference is quite noticeable.

I bought a peak design case with the notch at the camera button. Partner has an Apple one and it’s flush. Probs gonna return the peak design case.

 

Thank you! Damn, I'm loving the slate colour, the shots on the Apple site don't do it justice at all! They honestly make it look like it has a beige tinge going off which isn't the case at all irl. It is noticeably thinner as well, nice.

I've tried that before (and here), and it seems to do the same thing.

 

The lake green sport loop is so nice, it’s like shiny green interwoven with a nice teal.

 

wonder if it's a size thing, resizing and converting to jpeg

 

I have the sport band in this color, haven't put it on yet. Now I wish I got the loop instead but I'm a diehard that the sport band is still their best everyday non-metal band.

Very close to getting the 16 pro, my 13 PM is great and all but its paid off and I am getting a nice loyalty discount from verizon where the phone is mostly paid off but I will be stuck with this for 3 years which seems fine seeing how I still like the iPhone from 3 gens ago.

My black Ultra 2 that was supposed to be coming in mid/late-October got moved up to Monday. I guess they had a lot of launch stock left over.

 

Canceled my preorder this morning but then ended up placing another order for in store pickup, lol. I’ve had it with my 12 Mini overheating. I’m gonna miss the size but I also suspect I’m gonna like the huge screen.

16 Pro Max 512gb White. Picking it up in the morning although if i go in and fall in love with one of the other colors I’ll have to reconsider!
