bummer we lost those songs on this version. i haven't heard them but would've been nice to hear the album for the first time the way the artist intended

 

Just to play devil'd advocate, do we even know what the artist intended here? Do you think they intended NOT to have the two Vince songs included? Because that's what the first release was, no Vince.

To follow up on my last post, Earl says the track lists are different because "you wouldn't wear the same suit to two parties"

 

revisiting this and it's still very good, Mancala is something else man

 

This is definitely very solid, I'm just surprised at how little I feel like returning to it considering Earl is one of my favorites

 

I've been returning to it constantly, might be tied with SRS for my favourite Earl project

 

This unfortunately had no staying power for me.

Ayyy, randomly found this at The Exchange when taking some stuff in last night, picked it up because I somehow missed that it was getting a vinyl release

 

Revisited this over the last week and I'm confident in saying it has overtaken Some Rap Songs as my favourite Earl project. It has everything I love about Earl's music rolled into one and I'm pretty obsessed with it right now.

I really hope we get a deluxe version with some extra tracks at some point

Some Rap Songs over quite literally every rap release since maybe MBDTF

 

Some Rap Songs is his best IMO and he hasn't been able to top it since. There was so much heart and emotion in that project. I also like Feet of Clay and have a soft spot for Doris and I Don't Like Shit. Sick! and Voir Dire don't really do much for me.
