Most seasons have started the last weekend of September or the first of October - however the 2012/2016 presidential elections, they started the seasons mid-September. 2020 season didn't start until October, but we were also well into COVID for that season.

Would gladly watch her on tv in the hotel after I see her in person earlier that evening lol

Obviously she'd play Good Luck, Babe! but I'm not sure what would be second song. Don't think Hot To Go! would play well in that setting. Maybe Red Wine Supernova or My Kink is Karma? Pink Pony Club would be good too

 

I mean - she IS in New York, so come on NBC... make it happen.

 

Anybody have a guess as to when they announce the season premiere guests?

 

I'd hope by today, but I can't imagine any later than Friday.

 

I check the twitter feed daily, but to no avail - its rather late....

Does that mean its Chappel?

 

I hope so!!

I'd love the host to be a former cast member like Hader or something, but it wouldn't shock me if it was an actor from a hit movie this summer or one coming up.

 

I would guess it being this late probably just means they haven't finalized it yet, but we'll see.

I was thinking they'd have someone from Saturday Night host (Lamorne or Dylan O'Brien), but they'll probably save that for episode 2 or 3 so it's around the release date.

 

Rachel Sennott would be so good as a host.

I don’t think they’ve ever announced 5 in a row or done 4 straight weeks in a row?

 

They did in 2008 after the writers strike and in 2020 during COVID I believe
