Just realized my work league doesn't allow trades lmao so dumb. I asked the commish why and they said cause there's a lot of newbies who have never played FF before, which I understand you don't want people to get taken advantage of I guess but it's still a dumb rule!

 

Josh Palmer is on my team, but I guess I should toss a few bucks at Johnston? I don’t think QJ is particularly good but he’s been out there for most of their routes and finally showed signs of life for the first time in his career lol

 

yeah have to imagine he will continue to get looks even if that is a run first offense

would ya'll trade Anthony Richardson, Deebo Samuel, and Jayden Reed to get Jameson Williams and Aaron Jones?

Hurting bad at my rb2 spot with Pacheco going down. Also have Kyler Murray at QB.

 

that seems really bad for you. I Would try and keep it simpler. ARich + a WR or RB for Aaron Jones

TB and SEA defense is on the wire and I have Indy D who hasn't been good at all, but play Chicago at home and Caleb has been sacked 100x. Do I stick with Indy?

I hate even having to have a conversation about defense in FF.

 

Obviously it's an absolute crapshoot but I feel like Tampa Bay would be where I'd go. Denver sucks so much on offense and betting on a Bo Nix turnover seems like a good idea haha

End up dropping my two old dart throws in Zeke and DHop for Carson Steele and QJ.

 

I got offered a trade in the 16 team league where my RB1 is Jerome Ford. Need some advice, because I think I want ot take this. It is a keeper league, for the record.

I give:
Jayden Daniels (5th round keeper next year, I have Hurts as my starter)
Tyler Allgeier

I get:
Jordan Mason (7th round keeper next year if I wanted to keep him)
Marshawn Lloyd

Lloyd obviously a throw in here, but like...I feel like if I want to save my season I might have to take this? My RBs are in shambles, I'm going to be starting Jalen Hurts pretty much every week, and my WRs which were supposed to be my strength haven't been able to carry me yet (Terry, Tank Dell, and Xavier Worthy all starting out rough, AJ Brown hurt this week). CMC is going to return at some point, but this might be a i cross that bridge when I get to it situation?

It's .5 PPR if that changes the calculous at all lol. Also gives out bonuses for yardage totals for rushing, receiving, and passing

 

Steele was already rostered in mine but I did take the flier on QJ as well! I had Palmer so it was an easy swap haha

 

In my experience trading QB’s in redraft leagues is sooooo difficult because you rarely get anything of value since it’s such a replaceable position. However, I see it being easier in a 16 team league.

If Mason is the best you can get … then probably I’d do it. You’ll never start Daniels and you need RB help. Mason will be an RB1 for at least 3 more weeks (and maybe a flex when CMC returns if they ease him in?)

 

Yeah it was weird, someone picked up Perine but Steele was still sitting there lol. I didn't even have to use a waiver claim.

 

Exactly my thoughts there, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't fooling myself into believing it lol. Like I think I absolutely need to do this and just hope Mason keeps getting run when CMC gets back

And yeah his team is def in need of a QB thanks to our 16 team depth. Fields is the only QB he has rostered right now but he's 1-1 and in 7th place largely because he's stacked at RB (Bijan and Achane) and has decent WRs too. Daniels might make him a legit contender if he can score some TDs every week. My team needs an RB to even have a hope so...I think I'm doing it haha

 

And yeah I did look around to see if maybe there were any other QB starved teams that have a RB To spare and didn't see anything unforutnately...maaaaybe could go after Zamir WHite, but that's it.

 

Traded for Kamara. Wanted to get out of the black hole that is ETN/Jax offense this year.

I got: Kamara, Keon Coleman, Mostert
Traded away: Devonta, ETN, Aaron Jones

Coleman is de-facto WR1 on Buffalo and could pay off at some point as he progresses. Mostert is really good when he's healthy, which is obviously not often enough. Achane is due to get injured at some point, so hopefully Mostert is healthy when that happens

That leaves me with (2 flex league)-
RB: Kamara, KWlll, DMont, Z. Moss, Mostert, Charbonnet, Steele (just grabbed him in FA)
WR: Lamb, MHJ, Jameson Williams, Coleman

In hindsight I overpaid imo (shouldn't have included Jones, but I really wanted out of ETN) and my team is still good. Initially tried to trade ETN & Jameson Williams for Kamara and Coleman and they declined (they have ARSB as well, so they probably didn't want 2 Lions WRs). I'm just happy I didn't have to give either Lamb or MHJ to get Kamara.

 

Anyone? I’ve got Aiyuk in there but the Jets run D has been trash so Stevenson might feast

 

Yeah prob Stevenson. Mason will probably get a lot of carries and they won’t air it out a lot vs LA

 

Would ya'll drop Purdy for Carr? Or try and drop someone else first?

 

I also lean Rhamondre there but if it's PPR I understand the dilemma.

Dobbins has been great but obviously against two weaker Ds

 

I wouldn’t yet unless you’re comfortable also dropping Carr later if the saints are frauds
