Whichever one I don’t watch tonight I’ll see tomorrow.

  3. They are vastly different movies that are both worth watching. MaXXXine is big dumb fun and I Saw the TV Glow might stick with you for a long time, so very mood-dependant

Watching The House by the Cemetery for my Fulci pick while the maintenance guy is in my apartment doing some repairs. Not awkward at all.

The kid in The House by the Cemetery gives the kid in The Babadook a run for his money for most annoying kid in all of Horror.

Crossing that movie off any potential watch lists now

Lol it's still worth it in seeing how insane his performance is and the kills are really great.

I wasn't really digging it until the bat scene and from then on it was pretty wild.

  10. Trailer for new Bong Joon Ho film looks wild. Not exactly horror but I think ppl in here will be interested

  11. Lot of love for older movies in that Indiewire list, as indicated by the the fact that I've only seen 36/75 of the ones listed haha.

Watched Cuckoo. Not among my favorites of the year, but it had some cool ideas and was fun enough. Schafer and Stevens were good.

showed The Faculty to my mum and she liked it! playing "where do I know that actor from" was super fun with this one. another convert to the cause

A glass can only spill what it contains

I liked the first half of Cuckoo, but felt like the second half got a little too weird and didn't explain enough of the weirdness. The rare movie where I would have welcomed an exposition dump.

The House by the Cemetery is far from my favorite Fulci, but it's definitely fun. So is Cuckoo.

I was so obsessed with it in high school. Pretty sure I jammed to that soundtrack every day

Layne Staley singing Pink Floyd is yet another reason that movie kicks all kinds of ass

also that indiewire list has me thinking I really gotta see House, no idea why I haven't already

Think I’m going to do Drag Me to Hell for tonight’s Spooky Wednesday Movie.

My wife and I dedicate Saturday night’s to a 90’s movie. Now we are doing spooky titles on Wednesday’s leading up to Halloween. And like usual - I’m cramming as much horror stuff I can every other day of the week :crylaugh:

The return of football and the Royals playing good baseball have derailed me a bit but I usually squeeze in 2-3 movies a week.

I finally watched Lake Mungo last night and it had some simple but genuinely unsettling imagery. Dug it overall.

Watched Cuckoo and Blink Twice last night.

Blink Twice really surprised me. Went in blind though. Really enjoyed it.
