For a guy that's still using his jockstrap from midget, I'm not surprised by this move.

I’m sure Crosby was very sad about the money he left on the table when he was lifting his respective second and third Stanley Cups. Such a shame that he got three rings and he unfortunately has to come home to more money than someone could reasonably be expected to spend in a lifetime compared to a negligible amount of money more. He’ll most likely end up in therapy over the depression that stems from not being able to afford a 5th vacation home.

Saw Sparta Praha’s home opener in the Czech Extra Liga in Prague tonight against Ocelari Trinec, which was a rematch of this years finals which Sparta coughed up a 3-0 lead and lost.

European sports just put North American sports to shame. Everybody singing and chanting the entire time. Waving flags, clapping, paid $15 to sit second row at the Sparta attacking end and beers were $3.30 each.

Unfortunately Blackhawks and Capitals legend Michal Kempny was injured for Praha but still bought his jersey like a numbskull.

Even got to yell at Marko Dano who was playing for Trinec as a retribution for sucking when the Hawks lost their first of three Saad trades by acquiring him for 34 games (and then flipping him for a useless Andrew Ladd)

Hell yeah man that sounds awesome. The Euros fuckin love sports. This past spring I went to a Premier League game between two mid teams and it felt like the Super Bowl

For a sport as intense and exciting as hockey it just makes it so pathetic by comparison when you go to the United Center or wherever and everybody just sits silently and plays in their phone in between goals.

Ya European sports culture is a step up.

Though sometimes it's a bit much, below is from a recent champions league game between a polish and German team. Think the polish team was fined for the banner.

I've had a much better experience at MLS and CFL games than with the Jets.

The team was valued at 133m in 2006 and 1175m in 2023. So the team is worth a billion dollars more largely thanks to Crosby and his labor. And he left 40m on the table. That's four percent. Four dollars out of one hundred.

If I'm a fan of the penguins, I'm pissed that the increased prices of tickets and merch, again due to Crosby, doesn't predominantly go to him and the players.

I have had it with this fuckin bozo lol I have been beating the “trade Ullmark” drum for a while now, but I think it’s fairly obvious to anybody that you don’t do that unless you’re pretty sure you can get your starter of the future signed for the long-term lol

Apparently the swayman deal and the shesterkin deal are tied. Both players' agents are trying to use the other deal to gauge what theirs should get. Swayman should be shesterkins floor essentially.

hell yeah more expansion, we barely have enough talent for the 32 teams already existing. I’m sure *this time* a NHL team in Atlanta will work out.
