Take everything you just said and compare it to what’s actually, demonstrably taken place in Gaza - if you see an equivalency between the two, you and I have completely different moral codes. Again, I’m not saying Putin/Russia are the good guys, but it’s like if I was talking about the Indian Removal Act of 1830 and you were like “hmmm.. and yet i don’t recall you saying ANYTHING about Napoleon’s attempts to conquer Europe!”

Right but in the context of Stein and her positions and whether she's someone we should be definitively saying is the "anti-genocide" candidate, I'm saying that, if her preferred position on Ukraine were to win the day, we would be seeing some equivalence there, because it sure seems like the Russians would certainly like to genocide the Ukrainians, they just can't because we're actually helping them lol

Also we are arming and funding Ukraine and sanctioning Russia! We are in no way supporting Putin as a country. We are funding the genocide of the Palestinian people and arming their murderers. The Palestinians don’t have an army or any sovereign land. These things do not deserve the same outrage.

Uhhh I think it's pretty easy politically for a politician to support a stronger safety net at home while supporting shitty "allies" abroad in the name of the American imperial machine....most left leaning presidents throughout history have done this, actually lol. Very bad comparison to make as Stein's taking the position on a similar situation with an aggressor nation attempting to murder a bunch of people in a weaker position.

 

I think every time we mention what’s going on in Gaza the word genocide needs to be used to hammer home the reality of what it is that’s happening. It’s very important actually. It isn’t supporting a shitty ally. It’s funding a genocide.

 

I think Mark Cuban owning FoxNews or Twitter would be obstensibly better for the American psyche than the Murdochs or Musk owning them...doesn't necessarily mean it's good!
