He apparently was told he won first based on exits. I dunno about any of that tho.

I do wonder if we'd ever know if something got hacked though. Like, Hillary lost Michigan by 10,000 votes or so and over 150k didn't vote for President in the state? Wonder if there's hanging chads. If that happened for Trump infowars would lose their mind.

Drives me crazy. I'd hope our elections are more secure, and if there was something it would have been caught fast.

 

The first exit poll CNN showed was like, 50ish percent desired "change" (which they gave to Trump) versus 22% for something that was definitely Hillary (I don't remember what) and "experience" (which they chalked up to Hillary, but IMO can be either of them from a voter perspective). First time I was kinda scared...

 

He should offer him a pardon if he admits guilt about Bridge gate, then just not do that, and talk about how tough he is on crime

 

I'd love to see Christie stop being governor here a year early but not sure I would like it if it meant he was part of Trump's administration.

 

Agreed, I literally have 2 people I can have these discussions with in my personal life and rely heavily on being able to come here and have my views validated, and for that I am grateful. Appreciate all of you, I have learned so much.

Ever been to downtown Memphis after sunset? From personal exp, they sure do treat the white people differently in those areas.

 

Just had someone tell me that Trump getting elected was a strategy by the government. Apparently the government rigged the election and had him win so that we wouldn't think they are corrupt. If they had had Hilary win, we would have known they were corrupt so clearly they had to rig it in Trump's favor to throw us all off.

Then their proof was a bunch of click bait articles about the Russians exposing secrets of how to hack US voting machines.

I think their tinfoil hat was on too tight the past 24 hours. Holy shit.

 

Didn't someone near the Trump team already come out say that in the first 100 days of presidency they want to move forward on the wall and one of the other items? Basically, they want to make a point early on or something. I've been seeing too much stuff flying around and my head is still not totally clear yet.

 

Stay out of their bunker from now on haha.

 

Glad you mentioned this. are the sentiments the left is expressing now similar to what it was when Reagan came in? the parallels are all there ie reaction to social reforms, diminished middle class, etc.

I've got to say, in all the years I've been involved in politics, personally and professionally, I never thought I would see the day we elected someone endorsed by the KKK.

I feel compelled to post because I think I've argued here for years over working within the system we have and promoting engagement from all to coalesce around the most reasonable option, even if they weren't the ideal. I don't know where we go from here if we don't come together for the sake of protecting the bit of progress we've made.
