BTW did anyone attend the FF Emo NIte? Is it the same same as the LA and Brooklyn ones when it's the same 4-5 bands over and over again? I went to the one 3 years ago where Josh Head was DJ'ing and it was pretty sweet.

I'm only going Sunday, so not as many hard choices to make as some of you, but '68 and One Step Closer is a slight bummer. I love the new One Step Closer record, but I can't miss '68 at Furnace Fest.

It seems unlikely that Scogin will come out for a Norma Jean song, but would be tight for him to come out and do From The Mouth of Gath Comes Terror with The Showdown.

Scogin will probably do Memphis with them. He’s done it plenty before and on the mwY farewell tour.

I hope he does. I remember on the mwY tour, that was a definite highlight.

Biggest conflict for me is All In (local hardcore legends), One Step Closer, and '68. I'm gonna probably catch the first song or two of All In then stick to One Step Closer. Pond Stage is pretty weak for me this year unfortunately.

I'm really excited that a lot of the Christian metalcore scene bands are getting some shine on the main stage this year. Oh Sleeper, Silent Planet, Haste the Day, TDWP, ABR, The Showdown, Norma Jean, and Underoath.

He Is Legend seems to be shaping up as the Friday group hang just glancing at schedules we’re all sharing.

For a certain subsect of the scene, Friday is a straight heater almost start to finish, haha.

I will say I think it’s bullshit to have an after show where if you stayed to see Coheed you can only see Demon Hunter

I didn’t buy the preshow combo ticket but I’d be pissed if I did cause they said you could see all the bands but there is a shit ton of overlap.

Can someone remind me what the full album plays are? Emery, he is legend, Underoath, any others?

I’m low key pretty excited for the Eighteen Visions - Obsession play through. Definitely a period in my life where I listened to that record a ton.

As of yesterday, it is 100% confirmed I’m going. Def down for a hang! Just look for the guy with tattoos, a beard, and is white. Def will be able to pick me out!

I know nothing about Haste The Day so I checked them out since I'll be at that stage for the end of the night. I didn't care for the screams on the stuff from 2005 and earlier but the stuff from 2007 is way more my speed. Is there a different singer or did the same guy just change up his style? And if it's different which guy are we getting at the fest?

Different singer, and he is the singer for the current iteration

I will not stand for the Jimmy slander. He did a great Dan from Zao impression.

I wonder how similar their setlist will be to last year. Incredible set.

No slander meant, it just wasn't my thing. Hoping it's an awesome set.
