They lost congress and are going to get creamed in two years again. They have to do something, those red state Dems of course are gonna say that.

I usually just lurk this thread because I don't have a whole lot to contribute, but my girlfriend of a year and some change just broke up with me because I didn't vote Trump and because I called her out on the fact that she said she doesn't care about what he says. FSU Biology grad with multiple minors and she sees no problem with his comments. The delusion is fucking unreal.

On a more important note, I enjoy reading the discussions in here and I look forward to the future discussions! I would also be interested in tips on where to look for organizations to help combat this cancer.

That doesn't mean they have to work with him. Cause disruption in the chambers. Sit in. Walk out. Protest. Fuck up everything you can in anyway you can. Literally anything other than working with him. At least show that you have some character to oppose this fascist that less than half the county elected rather than being "oh well maybe he might not be so bad. We'll give him a chance."

im glad i went to work today.... i basically vented all day to everyone i met and it made me feel much better. we'll get through this

 

The protests today are a good start, now is the time to mobilize and organize that rage into a movement to strike back. That is if the left will actually do that.
