The ending is wildly different here and part of the reason why I think it’s being reviewed surprisingly well. I left the theater with some hope haha

Very, very interested in Presence, The Substance and It's What's Inside. Your Monster looks like an extended insurance commercial sketch and Salem's Lot unfortunately has a lot of the hallmarks of what I don't like right now. Very Flanagan and very visually dark. I'd love to be wrong!
