Sooooooo, what's next? How do they top this?! I can't even imagine what blink fandom would've been like in 2003/2004 if they did what they've done this past year. Giant world tour and (essentially) two albums released within a year?

Maybe another world tour, Vegas residency, Super Bowl, and 3 albums within a year? haha

Yeah I don't think it has truly hit me yet that they are literally on their highest peak since they ever first got famous. They will have just completed the biggest tour they have ever done and have produced SOLID amount of new music. We are truly spoiled. We will all look back at this one day and just think back on how good these times were.

  4. Been enjoying the hell out of this as I unpack at a new place. Of course the band releases something new as I start a new chapter of my life. Of course.

    Folks.

Nothing is guaranteed. Tomorrow is not promised. And I am so thrilled to be part of a community that understands getting this kind of work, from this band, at this point in their career and lives is something to be savored.

I may never know how it happened. But my goodness my life is better with this version of Blink in it.

    Better than you, sorry

If you never left and take me in. They aren’t mind blowing but I’m happy to have them.

My only complaint is I wish we got a bit more behind the scenes, making of or interview footage over the last couple years..maybe we'll get some kind of doc or behind the scenes footy released eventually.

Would have loved to be a fly on the wall at the first tour rehearsal or see some more in the studio stuff during the making of OMT.

  8. I really miss the trend of including documentary DVDs with CDs

pt 2 is travis’s best drum parts since untitled imo. the parts themselves crush but there’s something in the mix that gives that feel to me.

I miss CDs being in jewel cases or at least having digipacks not easily getting/ripped fall apart. My original OMT CD case got ripped on the second day, and from the looks/sound of it seems like the deluxe CD will also come in a weak "soft" digipack.

  11. Even my oldest digipack CDs from the early 2000s have never ripped or had any real wear issues... haha

A 2 hour blink set where they just play the bridge to Take Me In the entire time

  13. I'd at least take that over Green Day doing "ayyyyyy oh!" 79 times

What about a song called Take Me In To The Bottom Of The Ocean?

I like all the new songs but i think "All in My Head" and "Can't Go Back" are trully special. They could have been highlights of the original album for sure. The crappy punk rock gods are smiling upon us.

Love that people are psyched to chop up the releases but it’s cemented to me as the og album with the bonus tracks and OMT pt 2. I love it as a mini album. Opener, closer, nice slow down song and rippers in between.

After a few days of listening, I have nothing negative to say about the new songs. Even the bridge on “Take Me In” I find enjoyable - then again I liked it the first time I heard it. There’s clearly auto tune, but almost in a way that’s intentional to the listener as if it’s part of the music gluing it all together.
