An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Mark's bridge on IF YOU NEVER LEFT goes so hard, could use more of that on here

interesting how much this leans towards his vocals too, NO FUN/TAKE ME IN are the only songs Tom shows up first on

I'm lukewarm on some of these songs, but I think I like the bonus album as a whole?

"No Fun" is a straight bop, solid 9/10.

"All In My Head" is fun, but the cumstains line always takes me out of the moment, lmao. 8/10 (if you ignore some of the dumb lyrics)

"Can't Go Back" is... fine I guess? I guess I can't really tell what the song is about or attach any real strong emotion to it, but it's not really offensive or annoying in any way so it's a 6/10.

"Every Other Weekend" is a really fun little ditty. Travis' drums are fun, and Mark's verse is one of his best. Chorus feels timeless but also new for blink. 8.5/10.

"Everyone Everywhere" is a song I don't even know what I think about it. It definitely feels like a could've been on Neighborhoods, but it's intentional monotony is something that will probably have to grow on me. Bridge is great tough. ???/10

"If You Never Left" is a great blink song, instant classic. Lyrically my favorite, and all the little guitar motifs are so fun. 9/10

"One Night Stand" has great verses but the chorus is yet to grow on me fully. I think the vocals are too loud in the mix tbh, but it's still probably an 8/10.

"Take Me In" is in the running for my favorite blink song of the new era. Idk it just feels so nostalgic and soothing and when that chorus hits it feels fucking MASSIVE. Also anyone who hates the bridge is boring, it's so fun. 10/10 perfect blink song.

As someone who absolutely loved Lifeforms but wished it were a Blink album, these songs have all been perfect

    This absolutely rules.

“Can’t Go Back” is basically a spiritual cousin to “Cat-like Thief” which is my favorite BCR song. Just sing “don’t leave her” over the chorus. Fits like a glove. I adore it.

    House of Protect Ron.

on a 4 hour flight with omt pt 2 on repeat. psyched to get familiar with these songs.

Lots of tasteful nods on this release that have me really excited for the future. The copy paste remix on violence on everyone everywhere, the layered vocal outros, and textured snare part that call back to feeling this. The future is bright. at the risk of sounding like the never ending NINE call for progressive blink, I could see them moving in that direction in the future doing another defining album with a modern twist.

I agree with @Jason Tate theres an energy on OMT that they didn’t lean into the same way and it’s a vibe that rules on this one. Such a tight mini album from them that fits this era but with a subtle but killer tone. I was excited with tempered expectations and did not expect to love it as much as I do.

Agreed. I think it helps this collection of songs that its overall vibe is different than the main album. It feels like its own thing vs. an inferior version of the original album. They all mesh so well too.

Still not sure id say it’s better than any piece of OMT and there’s still a few clunky parts, but it’s super fun as its own separate collection (with a couple of really great tracks). Really happy we get to enjoy it.

I’ve decided the albums for me will be

    part 1

1-17 original album, and the 2 bonus tracks after

    part 2

    starting at no fun

Gotta get the red vinyl asap

I like all of these b-sides (or whatever they are). My early favorites are Can't Go Back and If You Never Left, though I'm pretty sure I passed out the first time I head the vocal layering at the end of One Night Stand.

I really hope they shot a video for All in My Head and actually push it as a single. That back & forth vocals on the chorus will make this kill on radio

Played OMT pt 2 an ungodly amount. also did a play through of omt & part 2 straight through. both together are LONG, but damn!

OMT always struck me as a perfectly adequate comeback album from anthem to edging. it’s unbelievable to me there another 10 relentless songs on the back half that don’t stop. an unbelievable comeback.

OMT part 2 is 100% a better ep than DED and a case could be made that it’s a better tight album than Neighborhoods. No shade on that record, I love it and am a huge advocate for it. Taken by Travis’s parts on part 2. more unique complexity we expect from him from untitled on. This release has so many cool parts. Verses, choruses, bridges, outros are surprising and so strong. Mark’s lyrics are noticeably less dark on pt 2. dude had some demons to slay on pt1.

Grateful blink fan for this killer collection of songs cementing this era as unthinkable a couple years ago.

  20. OMT era is their best since Untitled. I feel like that can’t even be disputed at this point.

I love Nine and confidentially felt that it was their best album since Untitled. But I haven’t stopped listening to OMT since it came out, and it’s miles ahead of Nine.

We're approaching 1 year of OMT and I still listen to it all the damn time.

I like Neighborhoods more than a lot of people but I haven’t felt a need to listen to it since OMT came out, and that includes whenever I decide to do a partial discog run. OMT and now probably OMT Pt. 2 are way better.

And yeah I still listen to OMT at least once or twice a week!

I'm settling on If You Never Left being the best Tom-blink song post-Untitled.

And not to ruffle any feathers but recording-wise these songs all sound so much better to me than on the OG One More Time

    If You Never Left
    Every Other Weekend
    One Night Stand
    Can't Go Back

Love all those and they're significantly above the other 4 deluxe songs to me. I feel like Take Me In may grow on me
