Glad to see Hollow Gate on there, I bought the Blu-Ray and haven't watched it yet.

The first 10 on that list (before the various 10/31s) are the ones that I’ve seen. They go in order from favorite to least, but I like them all!

My feelings have settled on Longlegs. Good but not great, Impeccably directed with some confounding writing.

Rewatch of I Saw the TV Glow has absolutely solidified it as my favorite film of the year. Beautiful, harrowing, moving stuff.

Needed something light and gay, so A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 it is.

 

genuinely so glad I can enjoy Longlegs without thinking about the writing's airtightness (or lack thereof). such a fun dumb movie

 

It's just hard when that one girl is talking like a Southern belle for some reason and then the one FBI agent has dialogue that's like, "Sure, he worships Satan, but in the United States of America, that's his right" lol

 

what if I said both of those things rule, they're funny as hell

 

They're at odds with the tone of the movie!! Lol

 

I rewatched Longlegs two days ago and my opinions on it changed a little but I still really like it. I’m just assuming Carrie Ann’s family moved states before Longlegs came into the picture lol
