Other than digital ads, what else other big money item can she spend this money on? That's so much money, haha. Maybe create a Zine that goes out to every gas station in America? Spend extra to put it on a little stand next to the cash register?

  3. IMO invest as much as possible into the ground game - door knocking, canvassing, getting new voters registered

I was just being snarky, Josh. There's no need to bring dark grim reality into this.

There are two recent polls for FL-13. A GOP sponsored one from from Club For Growth that shows Luna (R) up +5 and one done by a in-state company that specializes in FL politics that shows Fox (D) up +4. Having FL-13 under "likely R" right now doesn't seem right.

Everyone at work is talking about the Venezuelan takeover and how it’s going to get so much worse if Kamala wins. Apparently they’ve taken over Chicago now!

That kinda thing reminds me of the time i was listening to the police scanner on my phone during the George Floyd protests one night and i heard some Chicago PD officer radioing in every like 4 minutes to say “dispatch any word on that bus of antifa soldiers coming up from Indianapolis?” Stupid pig lol

Honestly the Venezuelan migrants should get Chicago imo. Nothing but the best for the Venezuelan migrants.

IDK aren't the arrivals the last few years mostly right wing/reactionary types fleeing Maduro? haha

I’m not going to immediately jump to judge the politics of people leaving a country that we’ve placed insane sanctions on and isolated from much of the world. But, this is actually a thing I’ve been pretty interested in - where do the people coming up here come from and why are they leaving their home countries. We have a lot of migrants selling waters or sodas on street corners in traffic and that kinda thing, and the most common countries you see ID’d on their signs are Venezuela, Guatemala and Honduras. One of my friends does homelessness organizing work, and has spent a decent amount of time talking with them. For the most part, she says they’ve left because of food issues and the rural areas being a place with a lot of gang violence. Not that many seem to come out of major population centers. That’s obviously anecdotal, but people haven’t said to her that they’re leaving because of Maduro specifically. So it’s not really akin to, say, Miami after the fall of Batista in Cuba where you’re dealing with people who had their sugar cane farms expropriated or something.

In short: Venezuela isn’t immune to the things causing a lot of people from Central and South America to flee.
