  1. I was supposed to go but tested positive for covid early last week. I was really hoping for a negative yesterday morning but sadly didn't work out. Hated to miss their first every Cincy show and my partner's first, but there's also more shows. Incredible setlist though with two of my live white whales, Plastic Boogie and an electric Sense.

  2. Also, this angel has been uploading the full streams to his channel for those missing out on the livestreams. This should hold us over until the band starts uploading them to the website they mentioned.

Another thing, I really love the b-roll of the fans and city/venue area that they add to the pre-show countdown.

I danced my ass off to Plastic Boogie enough for the both of us. Hate that you couldn’t make it.

I've been sick in bed and basically listening to Gizz all day lmao. damn good band. some hot takes (at least from what I've read from others) I came up with:

    - Joey songs are generally the standouts on each album, he has my favourite voice too

    - Changes is one of their best albums overall

    - their stuff that leans towards the melodic pop and acoustic side is my favourite. no hate to the psych and metal jams which are good, but they really excel at being laidback

    - the rap songs on Omnium go hard as fuck, I'd listen to a full album in that style in a heartbeat

Changes and Fishing for Fishies are the standout jammy albums. Overall though I think I lean more Murder of the Universe, Infest the Rats Nest as my favs.

I have nothing against the metal albums but they're not really my kind of style generally. I'd happily listen to albums like B3000 forever from them

They've started uploading the soundboards for this tour to the Bootleg Gizzard Bandcamp and they're free/pay what you want. Personally, it's going to be really hard to listen to anything but these for the foreseeable future lmao.

Saw them in Asheville... just tremendous. The first 45 minutes or so was sublime intensity and jamming.

The closer to that album is one of their most underrated tracks

Overwhelmed by the amount of shows to go through but excited.

Starting with the DC Show - so good

  15. I need to see these motherfuckers so bad I had like 5 friends at the Philly show and they all said it was one of the best shows they'd ever seen, and now like 5 more will be at the Gorge tomorrow.

They really are the closest thing to a modern Grateful Dead and you can tell because they are not even a little bit a "jam band" sonically - but they obviously put such a huge amount of thought and effort into their live shows and have the travelling following and put out the soundboards of the live shows etc, that there are a lot of spiritual connections. I've had a lot of conversations with other nerd drug band fans and always thought that if there was ever going to be another band in that vein playing arenas and biggegr it would definitely not be a "jam band." Goose are trying to prove me wrong but KGLW are bigger and better. They have none of aesthetic, none of the Jerry worship, but all of the energy and creativity and even a very solid amount of the improv. Love it

I always get worried about when I order tickets for KG because I know they don't like playing the same tracks on b2b nights, and there's only 20 staples I love

Just have to hope its a banger setlist, personally

well these shows are going to be the upcoming orchestral album in full and some back catalog songs that they decided to add the orchestral parts to, which i assume are pretty popular ones. Im already dreaming about Magenta Mountain with strings and horns.

They are specifying which shows have an orchestra and which are rock n roll shows if that helps make a call on what kind of show you want to see

which show are you looking to go to? I’ve never seen them live (but I am CRAVING it). Looking to try and go to the Vegas show next week. But excited for the new tour leg and new YouTube streams nonetheless.
