The face that Laurel made when she thought she beat Ninja in that climbing elimination and tells her to suck it is forever engraved in my mind. It was absolutely horrifying. She's just disgusting and immature.

 

Fucking love that moment. Serves her right.

 

I read/hear she went off on Darrell because she thought they were friends and she felt betrayed by him. But realistically he wasn’t going to say Aviv and he likes getting back rubs from Emily and Cara already went in so….

 

Yeah she took it way too personal lol, it's just a game. I assume everyone at some point is going in, and since she's so full of herself dunno why she's be mad to have to compete ...

 

She is so easy to get rattled and throw her off her game.

 

'The Challenge' 40 Producers Clear Up Derrick and Horacio Elimination

I'm extremely surprised they addressed this. I listened to the podcast episode and Derek mentioned this is the first time in franchise history they've brought the contestants back and had a meeting to discuss what happened, there were lawyers, quite a few production associates, footage and different angles shown, they went IN-DEPTH.

I also listened to Bananas podcast and he had Jordan on and they discussed how they've both been screwed over before in the past and they got over it no big deal and blame this new generation and social media playing a large and unnecessary part in this drama. I have to agree. Never seen anything like this lol.

Crazy eliminations. Wasn't expecting either but at the same time that was a corny ass elimination to begin with.

Fuck Laurel acting like a victim lol "Cara I've always had youuuuu". She's so delusional.

And damn next week's episode looks crazy. That definitely looks like a season ending injury....

 

Yea good episode, but I will say Im getting tired of the "drama" this season offline. The Horacio thing. The Cara/Laurel thing. Show just gets more and more serious. Not that I dont think the competition should be serious, but with all the production edits and big egos, it just takes away from the fun. And now CT has a sextape with his OF girlfriend. My god, Bananas is like G rates these days.

 

I feel like production set a bad precedent for showing the full video of a situation. Apparently Laurel went really low in that fight and it wasn’t shown.

Yeah apparently Laurel said stuff re: Abe's assault but due to legal reasons they couldn't show it. Like.....production has omitted entire things out before this was r necessary something we NEEDED to see because we could have just been told there was a fight and its kinda assumed when the two of those get together.

Legit felt bad for cara.

And apparently the Kyland confessional where he said Cara was at some fault too for starting it was a completely DIFFERENT argument, not the major blowup we saw. Good job production lol.

Yeah the shows definitely been getting more and more serious with the drama. That CT thing is just WILD hahahahaha.

 

Drama aside, holy shit can we talk about Tina dominating that elimination?

 

For real, I feel like something was off. She knew exactly what to do within seconds and they fell so easily. No one else was able to do that. Was it rigged? Doubtful, but still odd. I always figured The Challenge was the only real reality show, but I guess that isn't always the case these days. Another reason why I'll always be a big fan, but it isn't nearly the same for me. Too much drama, leaks, production blunders, and no partying.

 

Yeah I mean when CT tried the same thing and the nails just bent but stayed in place I felt like production might not have hammered those nails in well for Tina.

I do miss the old days when there were real fights, parties and it didn’t feel like people were just going on the show to get more social media followers.

 

Someone was in Tina's tweet replies saying it was rigged and Tina revealed that there was a toon coss to determine who went where and that Emily won so she picked spots.

I dunno, I just think there's some super shitty sets being used haha. Between those nails coming out and the pegs from last elimination, there's just shoddy work all around it seems.

 

I thought the way Tina used the hammer was different. Everyone else failed with that strategy because they tried it sideways.

No way guys, don't burst my bubble. I want to believe Tina had some amazing technique.

I forgot Kayce was on this season. I already miss the CT Pro Tips. LOL Derrick "breaking" is leg was comical to me. Made a big deal of it, but hobbles around like a hero. Just to be all good by elimination with just a brace on and they never mention it again. Saw the eliminations going their ways when I saw the games. Happy about the woman's. I will say that players like Brad, Leroy, and Joanne are super overhyped in my opinion. Sure some have won, but they really don't perform well. All Stars was a fluke.

 

Yeah his leg situation turned out to be NADAAA. But yeah I already miss CTs tips. We could at least get Tina's Tips ....we get Tina's Thoughts on twitter haha. She's got some gems I'm sure.....it was funny seeing how happy she got when Rachel won. Brad......is no gentle giant. No finesse. He couldn't throw those balls to save his life haha.

 

I don’t understand Joanne. She was average at best on The Challenge back in the day then went on All Stars and won Season 1 (mainly because of MJ) and 2 and all of sudden acts like she’s Laurel or Cara.

And yes Brad and Leroy are completely overhyped. They look the part but can never get it done when it counts. Cory is this generation’s Brad.

Brad had some interesting things to say about the Laurel/Cara fight on Bananas Podcast. Worth listening to.

 

I always forget about his podcast. I've been a huge fan of the show for 2 decades, you would think I check a podcast out

 

Decent episode last night. Nothing crazy, but like where it's heading. Bananas always stiring the pot, might bite him in the ass. But he has a good point.
