I wanna feel like I feel when I'm asleep. Prestigious

Wish I could. Always have though since I've enjoyed BC every time I've been there (plus I have friends). Alas, I don't think this dream will ever happen.

I wouldn't say this was close, electorally speaking.

So, how did the polling get this bad? If the election would have occurred prior to Comey's intervention, with Trump's assault still dominant in the media, would this have turned out differently? I'm trying to understand, to what extent, that was the operative thing that condensed the other dynamics into an anti-Clinton framework.

  9. I meant to the people saying it was in the bag for Clinton for months.

And it's very close. She'll win the popular vote and less than 200k votes probably will be the difference in those EVs.

I really worry what obama's actual legacy will be. Feels like the republicans are probably going to undo everything he accomplished, and then it turns out all he did was give us eight years of hope that lead to a white supremacist getting elected.

  12. Also, this can't just be an anti-Trump movement. That's insufficient. Liberalism, capital, its all it. If you end Trump but leave those standing nothing changes.

Better start brushing up on my Canadian:

  17. I feel you. I keep thinking about how lucky I am that she's still only 1 so that I don't have to wrestle with explaining this to her. All I can hope is that he's gone in 2020 so that she'll have little memory of his presidency.

on the bright side, at least we won't have to listen to liberals saying how Trump would've been worse.

(ok. that's my snark for the day.)

As someone raised in Indiana in a Presbyterian home, with 8 siblings of voting age that are staunch mindless vote straight Republican on every election...I am ashamed and I feel culpable.

To my Puerto-Rican wife and my 16-month old son....I feel such shame that my family helped do this...

    Honestly, it's breaking my heart.

Fuck. All of the progress is going to be destroyed. Gay marriage will be illegal again. The anti-Trans laws will be passed. Jesus. I'm so scared.
