Palestinians existing isn’t an activity deserving of genocide yet here we are. This conflict didn’t just pop up over night, Hamas didn’t just pop up over night, it has been DECADES of people watching their friends and family get slaughtered. Generations upon generations growing up with nobody as they watch Israel and the west act with impunity and escalate it to the point where it’s now worse than ever. Do you know the average age of a Palestinian? 19 years old. Why is that? Wanna take a guess? Hamas is a bunch of young people who have been radicalized from the day they were born because of the slaughtering Israel as committed against everyone they’ve ever known and loved. I’m begging you for one second to have an ounce of empathy and put yourself in that situation. What would you do? Be like “uhhhhhm guys we should be nice to our oppressors and not be violent” well in the middle of the sentence three more of your family members just got killed in an airstrike on your 99.9% civilian neighborhood.

imagine if we had given Israel Bavaria instead of Palestine, and they absolutely went to town on Baden Württenberg.

wonder what the reaction would be

It's true that Hamas did not know in advance that the festival was taking place, but not sure how much that entirely matters in the argument since they still targeted and killed many innocent civilians there

  8. You can’t let yourself assume a single not-evil thing about the resistance is true. Why not? Why does it require me to paste the below for you to believe it’s at all plausible?

Israeli security services investigations have found it unlikely that Hamas had advanced knowledge of the festival, citing, among other evidence, that the festival had been planned to run until 6 October, and was only recently extended to 7 October.[24]

not targeting the festival is different from not targeting concert goers

Is there anything Israel could’ve done in the last 75 years to make you stop litigating the oppressed?

I also think there’s nothing the slaves or native Americans could have done in their resistance that would make me scold them either, and history 100000000% justifies that position! Fucking Christ.

congrats that is how you replace one oppressive force with another one and don't actually end the oppression!

Haven't you (or maybe someone else) been posting polling data showing most registered Dems (presumably liberals) want the US to stop funding Israel while most conservatives do not? lol

And they’re going to largely funnel their votes to the democrats actively supporting a genocide without a demand. “Thoughts and prayers”
