I think you’re skipping some steps to arrive at that point, and I’m also wondering if you have him blocked so you aren’t seeing what he’s been saying to that point the past couple of pages here, but at this point it’s whatever for me.

Yeah but I don't think we have to say it "should have been different", and idk if anyone here really is. Rather we don't have to say "what happened was good actually" which is what is implied with saying those things (and of course in the context of other things Nate has said here). Like maybe clucky is scolding a little bit but even in his posts it seems more of a general observation that dead non-combatants sucks and is, generally, "bad", even if it's understandable why it happened in the context it did. And yeah also probably not something that needs to be said out loud here....buuuut neither does it need to be said that what Hamas did was somehow "good" lol. At the end of the day, people that probably shouldn't have been killed over this conflict were killed. And now it's happening a thousand times over in the other direction. I think it weirds people out to praise any part of the story that has lead to that now.

And to your follow up...yeah the US govt is doing bad shit too. I think most people here, even the ones questioning the wisdom of letting Hamas off the hook due to circumstance, agree with that haha

 

I actually take it all back. Hamas should of attacked strictly with their precision guided weaponry, military targets. Something they totally have. They should stop using their unguidable primitive rockets too, every which one launched is technically on paper in legal terms a war crime.

 

War crime is such a laughable term because war is a crime in and of itself.

I was gonna joke about how it's probably a bunch of millennials on the campaign who grew up as the Internet came into being and know how to use it to go on deep dives and find most anything, but honestly that's probably exactly it
